It is easy, with a lack of imagination, to see albinism as freakish. But to me albinism is exceptional, remarkable, extraordinary and beautiful in a pure, clean, simple way. That is to say: Pigment? Overrated.

It is estimated that they occur once in every hundred million lobsters. You would think that this rarity would make them extremely valuable, however, to date, all the albino lobsters that have been found have been donated to museums.

But wouldn’t you love to take a bite out of one of those bad boys? What does an albino lobster taste like, that’s what I want to know. There’s a market for super-rare meat out there, and I want to be the super-rich cowboy that gets to eat a million dollar lobster.
